What this policy covers<\/h2>\n<p>This policy explains what personal data we collect through sipbucharest.ro, including our online waitlist, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have.<\/p>\n\n<h2>3. The waitlist<\/h2>\n<p>When the bar is full you can join our waitlist from your phone. We collect:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>your first name and last name;<\/li>\n<li>your phone number (with country code);<\/li>\n<li>the size of your party;<\/li>\n<li>your language, and the time you joined and what happened to your request (seated, cancelled, no answer);<\/li>\n<li>your email address, <strong>only if you choose to give it<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Why we use it:<\/strong> to manage the queue, to tell you when your table is ready (we may do this by phone call, SMS or WhatsApp message) and to organise our service. <strong>Legal basis:<\/strong> our legitimate interest in running the waitlist you asked to join, and the steps you request before your visit (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).<\/p>\n<p>We also keep your details after the visit so that we can recognise returning guests and manage repeat visits. We keep them for up to 24 months after your last visit, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. <strong>Legal basis:<\/strong> our legitimate interest in knowing our guests and handling their requests. You can object to this at any time and we will delete your data.<\/p>\n<p>We use your phone number only to contact you about your waitlist request. We do not sell your data.<\/p>\n\n<h2>4. News and offers (optional)<\/h2>\n<p>If you tick the box on the waitlist form, you agree to receive news and offers from SIPPERS by email and\/or WhatsApp. <strong>Legal basis:<\/strong> your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time, free of charge, using the unsubscribe link in our messages or by writing to <a href=\"mailto:contact@sipbucharest.ro\">contact@sipbucharest.ro<\/a>. We will then stop sending you messages. If you do not tick the box, we do not send you promotions.<\/p>\n\n<h2>5. Cookies and similar technologies<\/h2>\n<p>We use a cookie banner so that you decide which cookies are used. Strictly necessary cookies are always active; statistics and marketing items are used only if you accept them. For the details, see our <a href=\"\/ro\/cookie-policy-eu\/\">Politica de cookie-uri<\/a>. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings on the site.<\/p>\n<p>The waitlist stores a small token in your own browser (local storage) so that you can check or cancel your place on the list. It is not used for tracking and it is used only to provide the service you requested.<\/p>\n<p>Our visitor statistics use a privacy-friendly tool that is hosted on our own website.<\/p>\n\n<h2>6. Third-party content<\/h2>\n<p>If you accept the relevant cookies, our pages may load content from other companies, such as Google Maps, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube or WhatsApp. These providers may receive your IP address and information about your device and may process data outside the European Economic Area. Their own privacy policies apply to what they do with it.<\/p>\n<p>When we message you on WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta) processes the message under its own terms.<\/p>\n\n<h2>7. Who receives your data<\/h2>\n<p>Your data is accessible to our authorised staff and to the service providers who help us run the website, such as our web hosting provider. Your rights<\/h2>\n<p>Under the GDPR you have the right to: access your data; correct it; have it deleted; restrict its use; receive it in a portable format; object to its use based on our legitimate interest; and withdraw your consent at any time.
